Julia Pond organized a teaching exchange in London (February) which brought together French and German lineages and left time for contemporary experimentation. Many thanks to Barbara Kane, Birgit PIttig, Francoise Rageau and Valerie Durham.
Meg Brooker, Valerie Durham and Julia Pond brought Duncan repertory to the Dancestry program in Austin, Texas in March.
April saw Duncan Dance Chicago presenting a weekend at the Joffrey Studios, directed by Jennifer Sprowl and with Meg Brooker and Valerie Durham performing.
In May Meg Brooker and Julia Pond performed at an Isadora Duncan Festival at RUDN University, Moscow, with three of Meg's university students.
Julia Pond complemented the book launch of Kinesthaesia and the Arts by Irina Sirotkina and Roger Smith at Calvert 22 Gallery in London with Duncan's Scriabin etudes and Meg Brooker's Birches. Meg and Julia then taught a workshop on Isadora Duncan's Revolutionary Dance, also at Calvert 22.
